The Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh possesses a large collection of plant specimens attributed to Bob Tagge. The so called "Herbarium of Bob Tagge" consists of more then 6000 specimens, collected between 1975 and 1982. The existence of this collection is a real enigma, as no futher proof exists Bob Tagge has ever visited Edinburgh, let alone produce an important body of work here. Also, in his correspondence with John Hope, first Regius Keeper of the RBGE, no references are made to this collection.
This is one of the last specimens in the collection, dated July 1982. According to Bob this is Allium ursinum L. which seems to be beyond dispute.
